Program
Students under the Program are subject to the following financial aid policy provisions:- OSAP or equivalent government grants
Students who are pursuing a degree program must first apply for OSAP or equivalent government funding prior to applying for a subsidy under the Program.
Students who qualify for OSAP or equivalent government funding are not obligated to accept the student loan portion of any funding for which they are approved. Please refer to the OSAP Tip-sheet for more information about how to apply.
Subject to the other conditions of the Program, Tyndale will subsidize the difference between OSAP or equivalent government grants (excluding disability grants) and the fees eligible for subsidy under this Program.
Students must abide by OSAP or equivalent government grant requirements. If they do not successfully complete their course(s) students may be subject to OSAP or equivalent government grant restrictions. If OSAP or an equivalent imposes restrictions on the student, due to poor performance, which results in grant reductions the University's subsidy under the Program will be correspondingly reduced by calculating the benefit on the previously approved OSAP or equivalent grant. - Other Scholarships and Bursaries
Subsidies provided under the Program are not stackable with other scholarships and bursaries. Regardless of whether or not students meet the eligibility requirements for other scholarships and bursaries offered by the University, any student who is currently receiving subsidies under the Program is ineligible for other scholarships and bursaries which the University may offer except for Merit based scholarships/awards and the Alumni Awards as follows:- If a student was not in receipt of a subsidy under the Program when completing their qualifying degree, they will be eligible for the Alumni Award, however, if a student did receive a subsidy under the Program while completing their qualifying degree they will not be eligible for the Alumni Award.

Employment responsibilities supersede any requirements that students may have related to their course work / class schedule. Consequently, students, who are also employees, must make arrangements with, and receive approval from, their direct supervisor, if their course work / class schedule conflicts with their employment responsibilities. Supervisors may agree, but are not required, to modify the employees work schedule to compensate for lost work time when employee is required to attend class or exams during regularly scheduled work hours. - Course and Level Restrictions
